Dear Alumni and Friends
 
With great pleasure we announce our annual conference on
Sustainable Living in the 21st Century
on 7th -9th October 2011 in Brussels.
The Alumni Clubs of Germany together with the MIT Club of Germany and great support locally from Imperial Alumni in Belgium have organised the first of three fascinating speakers:
 
    Professor James BARBER, FRS, Ernst Chain Professor of Biochemistry, Division of Molecular Biosciences, Imperial College London
                Can we build an artificial leaf to convert solar energy into fuel?"
 
    Dr. Serge SIMON, REACH Project Manager, Total Petrochemicals Research Feluy
                 Sustainability of Plastics and Bio plastics  
 
And our third Key-Note Speaker will be Professor Hendrik FEHR, former European Court of Auditors, Presidency Director for Communication - Strategy and Liaison officer who will speak on the topic "Sustainabiliity and EU transport and energy policies"
 
as well as a magnificent array of cultural highlights in Brussels.
